A little update

So before I turn 5 months, I just wanted to give everyone a quick update on my life. I love to lay on my side now, I even sleep on my side. As you can see, I'm starting to pack on the pounds!

I can now transfer objects from my right to left and back, then I bring everything to my mouth.

I am learning to sit with my papa:

Although it is summer, I tried on my winter hat the other day and it was pretty funny!

I received this beautiful handmade quilt from an Aunt of mine, Linda. Her friend Sybil made it and it is wonderful!

I'm almost getting too big for my baby tub, but I still love my baths!

I can easily roll over from tummy to back, but now I'm starting to get close to rolling over from back to tummy...

This is me now in my very own chair, I'm am able to sit straight up in it.

Tomorrow I turn 5 months old and I'll be getting ready to go to my Auntie E's wedding to Uncle Dave, so I'll have lots to write about after my first trip to Eugene, OR. Until then, peace!

Happy Birthday, Auntie D!

My Auntie D is awesome and I just wanted to wish her a Happy Birthday which was in June! Here I am with my Auntie D when I was only 3 weeks old. She brought me the beautiful little outfit I'm in below, which I'm finally able to fit into! I miss you, Auntie D! Love, elle

The Fourth of July Weekend

This last weekend was a biggie for me. I started off slow with mama and I doing some stretches on my blankets...aaahhhh, it feels good to stretch and bicycle my legs.

Since it's my first ever 4th of July, I wore my flag bow.

Then it was time to head out on the town with mama and papa. We went to our favorite local diner, Nookie's, and walked around on a gorgeous 4th of July day. Oh, btw, I now can face foward in the Bjorn, pretty cool!

I pretty much love it when my papa raises me up and plants wet ones on my cheeks, it makes me giggle (heheheh).

The biggest highlight of my weekend, though, was meeting my second set of grandparents, grandma and grandpa Holley. It was wonderful to finally meet them. We went to brunch at the Hancock Signature Room where the view is fabulous!

While the others sipped champagne and made their way through the brunch goodies, I was happy just sucking my fingers...

Eventually, though, I became quite sleepy and took a little snooze on my mama's shoulder.

Until I can eat with the big people, I'm perfectly happy with my baba, which I can hold by myself now!
